311 has shared a sped-up version of their hit single “Amber.” Originally released in 2002, “Amber” has become synonymous with the band themselves. The track has appeared in movies including 50 First Dates, Dear John, and Forgetting Sarah Marshall, landed on charts such as Billboard’s Blubbing Under Hot 100 Singles at No. 3, Modern Rock Tracks at No. 13, and Adult Top 40 at No. 27, and currently boasts over 193 million streams on Spotify.
“My daughters keep showing me TikToks of their friends making videos to ‘Amber,'” shares Nick Hexum. “They seem to like it more sped up. I’m like whatever floats your boat!”
The band recently announced their new beer, Come Original India Pale Ale, in collaboration with El Segundo Brewing Company out of El Segundo, CA. Come Original is brewed with Simcoe, Mosaic, and Chinook hops for a subtly sweet and brilliantly clear final product, with notes of tropical flavors and a lingering bitterness. 311 worked closely with El Segundo Brewing Company to create a brew as unique and mesmerizing as the band themselves.
