Fall dates run through Dec
Wolfgang Van Halen’s Mammoth WVH will hit the road this fall with support from Nita Strauss. Dates start November 4th in Milwaukee with stops in Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia and more before wrapping December 9th in Wolfie’s hometown of Los Angeles.
Tickets are on sale Friday, July 21st at 10 am local time via Ticketmaster.
The group will be supporting their second album, Mammoth II, available August 4th in a new global recordings agreement with BMG. The debut single from the project, “Another Celebration At The End Of The World,” serves as an 8:25 introduction to the Mammoth WVH live band featuring Frank Sidoris on guitars, Jon Jourdan on guitars, Ronnie Ficarro on bass and Garrett Whitlock on drums.
Taking its name from the original band that ultimately became Van Halen, making it all the more special that Wolfgang’s father was also its lead singer, Wolfgang prepared a lifetime to make his first impression with his solo band Mammoth WVH. The songwriter, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist worked tirelessly on material that would become his acclaimed debut album. Playing every instrument and singing each and every note, his music presented a personal and powerful perspective, balancing memorable hooks and tight technicality.
The dates are in addition to Mammoth WVH supporting Metallica and Motley Crue on their respective tours this year and various festival appearances around the globe.
