Def Leppard, Mötley Crüe announce 2023 World Tour US dates

US dates have been added

Hot off the heels of the biggest North American stadium tour of 2022 with more than 1.3 million tickets sold, the world’s most iconic and celebrated rock legends Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe are going global in 2023 with their co-headline The World Tour along with special guest Alice Cooper. After the launch of European and Latin American dates, the US dates have been announced.

Produced by Live Nation, the US leg of the world tour kicks off on August 5th in Syracuse, NY. The bands will bring their electrifying stage shows across America throughout the month of August including being the first ever show at the HA Chapman Stadium in Tulsa, OK.

“After finally getting back on the road this past summer, we’re beyond thrilled to bring this massive tour to a global audience including some special dates in America!” states Joe Elliott of Def Leppard.

“We had an incredible time playing The Stadium Tour in North America this summer and we truly can’t wait to take the show around the globe with The World Tour in 2023. Crüeheads get ready because we have a few amazing US dates set for you!” Mötley Crüe adds in a joint statement.

Citi cardmembers will have access to presale tickets beginning Tuesday, December 13th at 10 am local time until Thursday, December 15th at 10 pm local time through the Citi Entertainment program. Tickets to the general public will go on sale on Friday, December 16th at 10 am local time for all shows via Ticketmaster.

Produced by Live Nation, The World Tour kicks off on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Foro Sol in Mexico City. Both bands will bring their electrifying stage shows across the globe with stops throughout Latin America before heading to play many European festivals in May 2023. The groups will kick off the new run with two special nights in Atlantic City, NJ on February 10-11th.

The dates are the first with new Mötley Crüe guitarist John 5 who’s replacing Mick Mars after retiring from the road due to his health. The guitarist, who has suffered from Ankylosing Spondylitis since he was in his late teens, says the struggle is too painful to continue touring.
