Billy Joel, Rod Stewart announce Cincinnati stadium date

The pair will perform at Paycor Stadium this fall

Billy Joel announces a one-night-only performance alongside two-time Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Rod Stewart at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio on Saturday, September 20th. The iconic musicians will each perform their most beloved songs throughout their illustrious careers. The spectacular show promises to be an unforgettable evening of live music and is part of Joel’s One Night Only concert series, featuring Stewart, Sting, and Stevie Nicks on select nights.

Joel, who first performed in Cincinnati at Armory Fieldhouse on May 7, 1974, will return to the city after four years. This will be his first performance since playing a sold-out show at Great American Ball Park in September 2021 and his first appearance at Paycor Stadium.

“We are thrilled to welcome legendary musicians Billy Joel and Rod Stewart to Paycor Stadium this September,” states Elizabeth Blackburn, Director of Strategy & Engagement, Cincinnati Bengals. “This concert promises to be an unforgettable night of iconic hits and incredible performances, showcasing Paycor Stadium as a premier destination for world-class entertainment. The Cincinnati Bengals are proud to help bring major events like this to our city that unite fans and inspire our community.”

Presales start on Monday, January 27th at 10 am local time ahead of the general sale on Friday, January 31st.

The Piano Man has a series of dates throughout 2025, including Pittsburgh and New York City’s Yankee Stadium with Stewart; Indianapolis, Syracuse, Charlotte, and Salt Lake City with Sting; and Detroit’s Ford Field with Nicks on March 29th. The New York native will also perform solo dates throughout 2025.

In July, Joel wrapped a ten-year residency at Madison Square Garden with his 150th-lifetime performance at the historic New York City venue.
