Locash pledges everlasting love with ‘When I’m Older’

The track is released for Valentine’s Day

Love is in the air this week as platinum duo Locash releases “When I’m Older,” pledging everlasting love in the reflective-romantic track now available across all digital platforms.

Drawing from their own life experience as husbands and dads, the duo’s Chris Lucas and Preston Brust co-wrote the committed country ballad alongside Seth Ennis and Matt Alderman. With heart first lyrics accentuated by Jacob Rice’s tender production, and a crystal-clear vision of a future together- the promise comes with no end date. Enveloped in soft steel guitars, gentle acoustic guitars and velvety fiddle, “When I’m Older” showcases Locash’s rich, harmony blend in the pursuit of forever-young love.

“I feel this song is one of the most intimate and greatest songs we have written as Locash,” shares Lucas. “My wife’s grandparents have been married over 60 years. And to this day he still picks a flower for her every morning. We all dream about a love like that.”

The new song arrives just as Locash is feeling the love at country radio, with their wildly popular single “Hometown Home” breaking into the Top 10 this week, landing at No. 7. A tribute to the pure magic of putting down roots in the place that raised you, “Hometown Home” marks the duo’s fourth trip into country radio’s upper echelon – following the platinum hit “I Love This Life,” and Gold No. 1s “One Big Country Song” and “I Know Somebody” – and it’s still building momentum.

The duo is set to release its highly anticipated album due out this spring.
