The band is expected to announce a tour

AC/DC appears to be teasing a tour announcement. Overnight, the band’s official social channels were updated with a video trailer featuring its iconic lightning bolt logo with the words “Are you ready” along with a snippet of its 1990 song of the same name.

No further details have been revealed as of this writing.

The band has not toured since it concluded its Rock or Bust Tour in September 2016. The trek saw the group perform more than 80 shows in 21 countries. Guns N Roses frontman Axl Rose performed the final 24 dates after vocalist Brian Johnson was forced to sit out for health reasons. Williams has since reunited with the group, including last year’s Power Trip appearance in Indio, CA which marked the band’s first live concert in seven years.

For Power Trip, the Australian rockers recruited Matt Laug to play drums as longtime drummer Phil Rudd was allegedly unable to enter the US stemming to 2015 legal issues in his native of New Zealand. Cliff Williams rejoined the band on bass for the show after announcing his retirement following the Rock or Bust Tour. Johnson also joined the group for their latest album, Power Up, which was released in November 2020.
