K-pop girl group teams with South Korean DJs

K-Pop girl group Aespa releases two new remixes of their smash hit “Girls,” which was originally released as the title track for their critically acclaimed 2022 EP. The celebrated original track has been reimagined by South Korean Producer and DJs Minit and BRLLNT via Warner Records/SM Entertainment.

With a Grammy nomination in Best Rap/Sung Performance for his work on Christina Aguilera’s “Like I Do” and collaboration credits with Anderson .Paak and Dumbfoundead, Korean Producer and DJ BRLLNT boasts an esteemed history and career. In 2019, he produced tracks including “Don’t Call Me”, and “IndiGO”, which shook the entire Korean hip hop scene with nationwide popularity. Minit, also hailing from South Korea as a renowned producer and DJ, kickstarted his career and gained recognition through collaborations with GIRIBOY, Han Yo Han, and Big Naughty. He’s won numerous credits for tracks of various genres, including K-pop, hip hop and EDM and has been steadily making a name for himself within the K-pop genre.

Upon its release in July, Aespa’s second EP Girls – The 2nd Mini Album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart.

“iScreaM” is a remix release project by EDM label ScreaM Records under SM Entertainment. The label has been praised for remix singles of SM artists’ tracks, allowing fans to enjoy them in different and refreshing ways.
