Funk Generation: A Favela Love Story is available now
Back with a whole lot of heat, record-breaking international superstar Anitta unleashes a new three-song bundle entitled Funk Generation: A Favela Story via Republic Records/Universal Music Latin Entertainment.
Anitta paved the way for the project with the international banger “Funk Rave.” It is already approaching 25 million Spotify streams in addition to nearly 15 million YouTube views on the music video.
The bundle includes brand new tracks “Casi Casi” and “Used To Be” which will be accompanied by music videos that will tell how the three-part story unfolds.
“In this project I dive into carioca funk,” Anitta says. “The rhythm that raised me and is part of the culture from where I was born,” she says. “In the visuals, there is a lot of what I’ve experienced in the favelas. Apart from international producers, I made a point of bringing Brazilians to this incredible team.
