Album marks singer’s sixth Top 10 album on Billboard Top 200

Avril Lavigne’s highly anticipated seventh studio album Love Sux has debuted in the top 10 on Billboard’s Top 200 Chart, landing at No. 2 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales Chart, Top Rock Albums Chart, and Top Alternative Albums Chart. The album, which marks Lavigne’s sixth Top 10 album on the Billboard Top 200 Chart, was released February 25th via Travis Barker’s DTA Records.

Success for the album has skyrocketed to the top of the charts all around the globe, including a No. 3 debut on the UK albums chart, marking the highest chart debut by a female artist this year and Lavigne’s highest-charting album in the market in 15 years. Love Sux has amassed an impressive 12 million streams across the U.S. since its debut.

Lavigne has shown no signs of slowing down. On Saturday, the pop-punk icon premiered the music video for her hit single “Love It When You Hate Me” featuring Blackbear.

Lavigne kicks off her Bite Me 2022 Canada Tour this May and will also be headlining iHeartRadio’s Daytime Stage on Saturday, September 24th which will take place at the immersive event and entertainment district, AREA15, in Las Vegas. The pop star can be seen across the music festival circuit this fall, with performances at the When We Were Young Festival, Firefly Festival, and Boston Calling Music Festival.
