AXS TV has announced an exclusive sit down with Rock & Roll Hall of Famer and chart-topping music superstar Jon Bon Jovi, airing Saturday, March 20th at 8 pm EST/5 pm PST. Hosted by Spotify’s Global Head Of Rock, Allison Hagendorf, AXS TV Presents: A Conversation With Jon Bon Jovi puts the spotlight on the influential icon as he reflects on the creative process behind the band’s latest album 2020, a deeply personal time capsule of the trials and triumphs of the past year; opens up about his experience filming On A Night Like This; and reveals other passion projects to which he has been devoting his time. Viewers will have the opportunity to submit their own questions to the rocker in a sweepstakes, where several will be selected to be answered in a “Fans Ask” segment during the discussion.
The exclusive pre-show event leads into the broadcast premiere of On A Night Like This – Bon Jovi 2020 at 8:30 pm EST/5:30 pm PST. The acclaimed concert film captures the band in a unique situation as they perform their 2020 album in its entirety for the first time, during a closed performance in Nashville. Blending intimate sets with candid backstage footage and insightful sit-downs with Jon Bon Jovi, On A Night Like This offers a rare glimpse into how one of the world’s most influential bands is weathering the storm of this global challenge and serves as a powerful testament to the importance of music during difficult times. Highlights include renditions of “Limitless,” “Beautiful Drug,” and “Do What You Can,” among others. This marks the first time ever that the performance will be available on network television.
“We released our new album during such a unique year and without a tour we had to find a different way to perform these songs for our fans. AXS TV has been a great partner and I’m looking forward to everyone getting the chance to watch this special showcasing the band’s first and only time performing 2020 live together,” states Jon Bon Jovi.
