How Dare You Want More short film available now

Bleachers has released the short film How Dare You Want More. It serves as a sequel to 2015’s award-winning Thank You and Sorry, taking place entirely at Electric Lady Studios and out now on Bleachers’ YouTube channel. Created and written by Jack Antonoff and director/producer Bill Benz (At Home with Amy Sedaris, Kroll Show, Portlandia), the film stars Jack Antonoff, Zoë Chao, Rachel Antonoff, Bob Balaban, Ana Gasteyer, and more.

Accompanying the release of the film is a special two-pack of remixed tracks from their critically acclaimed 2021 album, Take the Sadness Out of Saturday Night.

Out now via RCA Records, the bundle features a remix of “Stop Making This Hurt” from PC Music producer AG Cook and a reimagining of “How Dare You Want More” from Earth, Wind & Fire founding member and bassist, Verdine White.

Take the Sadness Out of Saturday Night serves as the follow-up to their critically acclaimed second album, Gone Now, which came out on June 2, 2017. The first single, “Don’t Take The Money,” hit No. 3 at alternative radio. Six-time Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, musician, and producer, Jack Antonoff, is the creative force behind Bleachers. In April 2022, Antonoff won the Grammy Award for Producer of the Year.

Bleachers are currently performing across the globe as part of their 2022 How Dare You Want Tour, with stops at The Forum in Los Angeles, Red Rocks in Denver, and Radio City Music Hall in New York, as well as festival appearances at Bonnaroo, Riot Fest, All Things Go, and more. With support from Beabadoobee, Blu DeTiger, Cavetown, Charly Bliss, The Lemon Twigs, Wolf Alice, and more, Bleachers will also join Carly Rae Jepsen for a set of special co-headlining dates in Cleveland and Toronto this fall.
