The band will release the project this fall
Blink-182 will release its highly-anticipated new album, One More Time…, on October 20th via Columbia Records, marking the first album with the group’s classic lineup of Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker since 2011. The album features 17 new songs that capture the band at the top of their game, layering themes of tragedy, triumph, and most importantly, brotherhood.
The trio recorded the project in the midst of their blockbuster reunion tour throughout 2022 and 2023, which sold out arenas, amphitheaters, and stadiums across the world.
The new album comes both digitally and physically on CD, standard black vinyl, and multiple limited edition physical vinyl variants including purple ooze LP, red and clear marble colored LP, and egg splatter colored LP, all exclusively available through the band’s website. Additional vinyl offerings include the Coke bottle clear-colored indie exclusive LP, opaque white-colored Amazon exclusive LP, and electric smoke-colored Spotify Fans First exclusive LP. A limited edition cassette will also be available through the band’s website.
The group shared a sentimental album trailer, featuring candid interview footage in which the trio discusses topics never shared before, from an upcoming episode interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe. The clip also features archival footage and teases three new songs, including the title track which will be available on Thursday, September 21st.
The band played their first group of reunion shows in March with a variety of festivals in Mexico and Latin America. The North American leg wrapped in July with the band currently touring Europe through October before returning Stateside to perform at the We Were Young Festival in Las Vegas on October 21st. The band will head Down Under to Australia and New Zealand in February 2024.
Since their humble beginnings nearly 30 years ago, when they started playing in a San Diego garage, Blink-182 has sold over 50 million albums worldwide and rocked audiences from Adelaide to Zurich having become one of the defining rock bands of their generation. While the group has already racked up more than their fair share of Platinum records and blockbuster singles, they are looking forward to their 10th studio album. With Delonge back after nearly a decade, fans can expect that electric on-stage magic that the trio has delivered over the years. With their new album due in 2023, Blink-182 is stoked to be facing their future together.
