Rising singer/songwriter releases soulful rendition of holiday classic

Callista Clark is kicking the holiday season off early by kindly asking you to “Please Come Home For Christmas” as the rising singer-songwriter shares her version of the Christmas classic via Big Machine Records. A soulful take on the tune made popular by The Eagles, Clark’s version highlights the young talent’s impressive vocals and artistic prowess.

“My grandparents own a Christmas tree farm so it has always been a big holiday for me and my family. I love that with this release, I kind of get to be a part of a lot of other families’ holiday and share my love of Christmas with the world,” Clark shares. “I grew up listening to Classic Rock which is probably why ‘Please Come Home For Christmas’ has always been my favorite — it gives me that feeling of listening to classics on vinyl.”

The new track comes hot on the tail of the release of her debut album, Real To Me: The Way I Feel which came out a mere two weeks ago. Produced by Nathan Chapman (Taylor Swift, Lionel Richie, Keith Urban, Mickey Guyton), Clark’s debut album reveals the 19-year-old as a songwriter of considerable depth and wit and a gifted singer with confidence and an impressive presence unique to someone her age. The powerful launch is poised to become the soundtrack for the heartbreaks and triumphs of her generation.
