Event will air on CMT on Oct 30th

New performers and special guests have been added to Coal Miner’s Daughter: A Celebration of the Life & Music of Loretta Lynn, a live celebration from the Grand Ole Opry House, in partnership with the family of Loretta Lynn, to honor the extraordinary life, legacy and music of country legend Loretta Lynn. Alan Jackson, Dolly Parton, Gaither Vocal Band, Hoda Kotb, Kacey Musgraves, Marty Stuart, Miranda Lambert, Reba, Sissy Spacek and family members Patsy Lynn + Tayla Lynn join previously announced lineup of friends and family paying tribute to the country legend.

The public memorial service is set to air commercial-free on Sunday, October 30th at 7 pm ET/PT, exclusively on CMT, with two additional commercial-free encores on Wednesday, November 2nd at 8 pm ET/PT and Sunday, November 6th at 11 am ET/PT. The special will also be made available on Paramount+ in early 2023.

Memorial to also broadcast on SiriusXM’s Wille’s Roadhouse: Willie Nelson’s Classic Country, Channel 59.

Jenna Bush Hager will host the event which will see performances by Jackson, Brandi Carlile, Darius Rucker, Emmy Russell and Lukas Nelson, George Strait, The Highwomen’s Carlile, Amanda Shires + Natalie Hemby with Brittney Spencer, Keith Urban, Little Big Town, Margo Price, Tanya Tucker and Wynonna with Gaither Vocal Band along with Larry Strickland.

Presenters include Barbara Mandrell, Crystal Gayle, Patsy Lynn and Tayla Lynn, Faith Hill, Hoda Kotb, Martina McBride, Sheryl Crow and Tim McGraw. The broadcast will also include special messages by Parton, Musgraves, Stuart, Lambert, Reba and Spacek.

Lynn’s memorial service will be open to the general public with a limited number of tickets available.

Lynn passed away on October 4th at the age of 90. Over the course of her 60-year career, the famous native of Butcher Hollow, KY amassed a staggering 51 Top 10 hits, garnered every accolade available in music from Grammy awards to induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame, and broke down barriers for women everywhere with songs like “Don’t Come Home a Drinkin’ (With Lovin’ on Your Mind),” “Fist City” and “Coal Miner’s Daughter.”
