Event runs for 29 hours

In celebration of her new EP, 29, Carly Pearce has announced an intimate concert event on YouTube Wednesday, February 24th beginning at 6:01 pm CT with a live Q&A. The stripped-down Carly Pearce: 29 Live celebrates the new music and will only be available for 29 hours.

More traditional-leaning than many of her contemporaries, these songs showcase the burn in her torchy alto and the power of lean writing that captures a moment. A creative burst inspired by her time writing with Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne, the seven songs on 29 measure the realizations, hopes and letting go that comes with becoming an adult in full. It also marks a new grounding in a deeper kind of country music, something that reaches down into the roots of what Pearce grew up on.

Focusing on Pearce’s pure tone and airy to sultry notes, 29 marks a coming of age for both her sound and her presence in today’s emerging country female universe. The set includes the lead single “Next Girl,” the multi-generational tumble “Should’ve Known Better,” the soul slink “Liability” and the slow build homage to her late producer BusbeeShow Me Around” gave a shape to the seven songs that compromise the next chapter for the singer/songwriter.
