Black will celebrate his debut album with a new tour

Nineties country crooner Clint Black will celebrate the 35th anniversary of his breakthrough debut album, Killin’ Time, in 2024 with a new tour. The award-winning singer-songwriter-guitarist-harmonica player has revealed dates for 2024 Killin’ Time – The 35th Anniversary World Tour, featuring Black performing the album from start to finish.

“Time flies when you’re…Killin’ Time!” Black says in a statement. “My band and I are very excited to play the album top to bottom. Revisiting these songs has been inspiring, and we can’t wait to hit the road and play it for the fans! Starting at the Ryman will make for a very special send-off to all points North America!”

The trek will launch on February 16th with three back-to-back shows at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. Additional stops include stops in Oklahoma, Texas, Virginia, Minnesota, and Canada, along with an appearance at Stagecoach in April 2024. Dates are currently set through July.

In addition, Sony Music and Vinyl Me Please have partnered to offer a special vinyl release of Killin’ Time to mark the milestone. The special release will ship in May 2024.
