The group teams with TLG|Rock distributed by Virgin Music Group for upcoming record
Close Enemies, a powerhouse band featuring Aerosmith bassist Tom Hamilton, has signed a deal with TLG|Rock for management and label services with the album distributed via Virgin Music Group. The band also features drummer Tony Brock from The Babys and Rod Stewart, touring guitarists Peter Stroud and Trace Foster, and singer Chasen Hampton, who was a member and co-host of the famed 90s Mickey Mouse Club and pop group The Party.
The band will release their debut single “Sound Of A Train” on January 17th. The group kicks off a series of tour dates on January 8th in Philadelphia.
“We’re really excited to be working with TLG/Virgin on the release of the Close Enemies record! They’re genuinely as excited about putting it out as we are! Can’t wait to see what happens!” Hamilton shares.
“My good friend Andy Gallagher of the band Overhaul sent me the music. I absolutely loved it, then to find out who’s in the band, well that was just icing on the cake. We are all thrilled here at TLG to be working with Close Enemies,” adds TLG|Rock CEO Denny Sanders.
Hamilton was scheduled to be on Aerosmith’s final tour through next year, but the band announced its retirement from the road in August, following ongoing vocal struggles by frontman Steven Tyler. The classic rockers performed three shows on its Peace Out farewell tour last year before being forced to postpone indefinitely while Tyler was recovering from a vocal cord injury.
