Both will return in spring 2022
Goldenvoice Entertainment, organizers of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and California’s Country Music Festival, Stagecoach, have announced dates for 2022. Coachella is set for April 15-17 & April 22-24, 2022 while Stagecoach is scheduled for April 29-May 1, 2022 in Indio, CA. Coachella attendees can register now to access the 2022 advance sale beginning Friday, June 4th at 10 am PT while Stagecoach fans can register for ticket info.
Once again, payment plans will be offered for Coachella starting with $99 down and over eight months or 25% down for four equal payments. Further details on Stagecoach will be offered in the future.
Both festivals were canceled for a second year in 2021 due to the pandemic after the Riverside County Health Department feared an uptick in COVID-19 cases. Both attract hundreds of thousands of attendees from many countries, including several disproportionately afflicted by the worldwide COVID-19 epidemic.
In March of 2020, Goldenvoice postponed both events from three weekends in April to three in October 2020 due to COVID-19. Both were canceled in June with hopes of returning in April 2021 with a capacity of 60%.
Frank Ocean, Rage Against the Machine and Travis Scott were set to headline Coachella in 2020. Thomas Rhett, Carrie Underwood and Eric Church were set to headline Stagecoach last year.
