Ford’s condition steadily improves

Country-rap star Colt Ford remains in the Intensive Care Unit at a Scottsdale, Arizona hospital following a heart attack after his show in Gilbert, Arizona at Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row on April 4th. In the past week, Ford has made significant progress in his recovery and his condition is slowly but steadily improving.

Due to current circumstances, Ford’s scheduled tour dates through August 30th have been canceled. Refunds are available at the point of purchase for any canceled dates. Previously purchased tickets will be honored for any rescheduled dates.

At this time, Ford’s family is requesting privacy and appreciates fans’ continued thoughts and prayers.

Last summer, the country music pioneer released Must Be The Country, a 24-track collection featuring collaborations with Tracy Lawrence, Brantley Gilbert, Sam Grow, Tracy Byrd, and more. The project was released on his Average Joes Entertainment and marked his first full-length project in three years.

The album took shape while battling eye cancer and recovering from an intensive surgery to remove the tumor. Following his successful fight against cancer, Ford had been diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis, an autoimmune disorder that destroys neuromuscular connections and affects the muscles in the face. Despite his recent struggle with personal health, Ford has exhibited his enduring human spirit and continues to tour the nation and write and record new projects.
