New single follows Good Things going Platinum
Dan + Shay are bringing “You” to country radio on Monday, July 18th with the release of their new single. The duo debuted the track on Late Night with Stephen Colbert and at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards, where they took home their third award for Top Country Duo/Group.
Co-written by the duo’s Dan Smyers alongside Dave Barnes and Jordan Reynolds, “You” hails from the newly Platinum-certified album Good Things. The collection became the first country album in the streaming era to achieve RIAA Gold certification upon release. It has already yielded the chart-topping singles “10,000 Hours” with Justin Bieber, which has now been certified 5x Platinum, and the Platinum-certified “I Should Probably Go To Bed” and “Glad You Exist.”
The duo is currently among the openers of Kenny Chesny’s Here and Now Tour 2022, along with Carly Pearce and Old Dominion.
