Daughtry postpones tour due to stepdaughter’s sudden death

Band was on a 30 date tour

Daughtry has postponed upcoming US shows due to the sudden death of frontman Chris Daughtry’s 25 year old stepdaughter, Hannah. People reports that Hannah was found dead in her Nashville home by local police on Friday (Nov 12th).

“Due to the unexpected death of Chris and Deanna Daughtry’s daughter, Hannah, all currently scheduled shows for the coming week for Daughtry have been postponed. The Daughtry family thanks you for your understanding and respectfully asks for privacy during this very difficult time,” a statement reads on the band’s social media pages.

“Further details will be made available at a later date. The investigation into this tragic death is still ongoing.”

Hannah and her 23 year old brother Griffin are Deanna’s children from a previous relationship. The couple have 10 year old twins Adalynn Rose and Noah James together.

Friday’s show in Atlantic City, New Jersey was canceled following the news. The band just kicked off a headlining tour with Sevendust, Tremonti and Travis Bracht on November 3rd at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium.

The band just released Dearly Beloved in September featuring the Billboard Hard Rock Digital Songs Sales Chart No. 1 and Top 20 active rock radio Hit “Heavy Is the Crown” and 12 others.
