The event will be shown in theaters globally

Global superstar Dolly Parton teams with Trafalgar Releasing to celebrate the release of her star-studded rock album, Rockstar, with a global first-listen fan event in theaters on November 15th. The behind-the-album event will feature selections from the album and an exclusive interview with Dolly, along with a sneak peek of select tracks and music videos from the project, plus an exclusive performance of a holiday song and her classic hit “9 to 5.” Select theaters will play an encore of the event on November 16th.

Fans can purchase tickets at dollyrockstarevent.com. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Music Will and its global partner organizations.

Rockstar will be released on November 17th with an exclusive Tennessee Volunteers edition and an HSN edition, the latter featuring three bonus tracks. The project was inspired by her 2022 induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Museum.

Parton’s Rockstar album is one of the most highly anticipated projects of 2023. Among the special guests are former Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora, John Fogerty, Stevie Nicks, Miley Cyrus, Kid Rock, Warren Haynes, Joan Jett, Peter Frampton, Pink, Brandi Carlile, Elton John, Melissa Etheridge, Lizzo, Steven Tyler, Motley Crue’s Nikki Sixx & John 5, Sheryl Crow, Emmylou Harris, Ringo Starr, Paul McCartney and members of Lynyrd Skynyrd, among others.

The album has already produced chart-topping hits including the original song “Bygones” featuring Rob Halford which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Rock Digital Songs chart and Parton’s original song, “World on Fire,” which also reached the No. 1 Billboard Rock Digital Songs chart the month of its release. Also, recently released was the classic “Let It Be” – including a roster of rock legends — Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Peter Frampton and Mick Fleetwood as well as “What’s Up?” featuring Linda Perry. Last week, Parton released “Wrecking Ball,” a duet with Miley Cyrus.

Dolly is set to perform the Halftime Show Live at the Dallas Cowboys’ Thanksgiving Day game against the Washington Commanders.
