The global superstar is taking over media globally for new album

Dolly Parton kicks off her album release week this morning (Mon, Nov 13th) with a big announcement: she’s coming home to Rocky Top! On Saturday, November 18th, Parton will make a special appearance during the UT Volunteers vs. Georgia Bulldogs game beginning at 3:30 pm ET on CBS. The global superstar, who has a UT Vols edition of her much-anticipated Rockstar album, will make her first appearance at Neyland Stadium in front of 101,000 fans.

In addition, Parton will make her debut appearance on The Howard Stern Show, airing live on SiriusXM this Wednesday, November 15th at 9 am ET. In tandem, Parton’s limited-run channel on SiriusXM—the aptly titled Rockstar Radio—will launch the same day.

In celebration of Parton’s much-anticipated Rockstar album releasing this Friday, November 17th via Butterfly Records with distribution by Big Machine Label Group, Parton has a slew of other release-week appearances set.

Today, the superstar launches a Rockstar Create-A Card landing page with American Greetings. Her album is the BBC Radio 2 Album of the Week Spotlight in the UK this week. On Wednesday (Nov 15th), fans can hear the album first with the Dolly Parton – Rockstar: The Global First Listen Event in cinemas worldwide powered by Trafalgar Releasing.

On November 16th, Dolly Parton’s Rockstar album release party live stream interview can be heard with further details coming this week. On the same day, Parton will be featured in the TVSN Dolly Day Takeover in Australia and New Zealand.

On November 17th, Waffle House will host Midnight Rockstar Listening Parties Powered by TouchTunes for National Jukebox Day. The same day, Parton’s interview with The Bobby Bones Show will air on local stations and the iHeart app. Also this week, Audacity radio stations, MTV, NPR, Cumulus radio stations, TuneIn’s The Big 615 and Dollywood will feature Parton.

On November 23rd, Parton will headline the Red Kettle Kickoff on the Dallas Cowboys’ halftime show airing on CBS for Thanksgiving. On November 27th, Parton will take over The Drew Barrymore Show.

Parton’s Rockstar album is one of the most highly anticipated projects of 2023. Among the special guests are former Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora, John Fogerty, Stevie Nicks, Miley Cyrus, Kid Rock, Warren Haynes, Joan Jett, Peter Frampton, Pink, Brandi Carlile, Elton John, Melissa Etheridge, Lizzo, Steven Tyler, Motley Crue’s Nikki Sixx & John 5, Sheryl Crow, Emmylou Harris, Ringo Starr, Paul McCartney and members of Lynyrd Skynyrd, among others.

The album has already produced chart-topping hits including the original song “Bygones” featuring Rob Halford which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Rock Digital Songs chart and Parton’s original song, “World on Fire,” which also reached the No. 1 Billboard Rock Digital Songs chart the month of its release. Also, recently released was the classic “Let It Be” – including a roster of rock legends — Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Peter Frampton and Mick Fleetwood as well as “What’s Up?” featuring Linda Perry. The most recent release is a duet of Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” with the pop star herself.
