Milligan to debut the song on NBC’s America’s Got Talent on September 13th

Following the release of his critically acclaimed debut album Dallas/Fort Worth which skyrocketed to No. 1 on the iTunes All-Genre chart, Stoney Creek Records artist Drake Milligan has released the uptempo “I Got A Problem.” The good-time, romantic tune tells of all the ways a cowboy’s new gal has a hold on him like never before, singing: “Your kiss tastes like whiskey, and I’m a drinker.”

The former America’s Got Talent contestant is scheduled to perform the track on the NBC show on Wednesday, September 13th.

In addition to the new release, Milligan is having a banner month filled with special performances including his third performance in six months on the Grand Ole Opry, his aforementioned performance on AGT, and a duet with Canadian superstars The Reklaws at the CCMA Awards on September 16th. Milligan recently released the fun-loving duet “Honky Tonkin About” with The Reklaws in Canada and the States, as a teaser for their upcoming performance.

The buzz surrounding the up-and-coming traditional country star continues to build next month as he performs in the “Ole Red On The Rise” Series here in Music City. Additional accolades include a career first CMT Award nomination, holding the No. 1 position on the CMT 12-Pack for seven consecutive weeks, wracking up a slew of No. 1s topping the iTunes Country Album Chart, iTunes Country Singles Chart and iTunes Video Chart as well as earning a coveted spot on Billboards Top 10 Country Albums List. Milligan also became a hometown hero when Billy Bob’s Texas added his handprints to their Wall Of Fame.

With a combination of headline shows, opening slots and major festivals including Stagecoach, CMA Music Fest and Carolina Country Music Fest, Milligan is on target to play over 100 shows this year. He will appear on CMT’s Hot 20 for the fourth time this year in the coming weeks.

When he’s not making tracks out on the road, Milligan has been spending time in the studio recording new originals with acclaimed producer Trent Willmon (best known for his work with Cody Johnson including Grammy-winning “Til You Can’t). In the coming weeks, Milligan will be making stops in Michigan, Canada, Colorado, Kentucky, Georgia, Texas, California, Alabama and Tennessee.

He will also headline New Year’s Eve at the World’s largest Honky Tonk at Billy Bob’s Texas, back by popular demand, for the third time in a year.
