Seventh studio album breaks new records

Drake continues to score No. 1 albums with the release of his electronic-based Honestly, Nevermind. The rapper’s seventh studio album broke several records upon its June 16th release, including the record for first-day streams globally for a dance record on Apple Music and hit charts around the world.

Honestly, Nevermind also debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 while topping the charts in the Netherlands, New Zealand, Switzerland, and landing Top 10 positions in the UK, Germany, Australia, and across continental Europe.

It’s his 11th album to ascend to the top of the charts and follows last year’s Certified Lover Boy, which scored the rap mogul his tenth No. 1 album and the biggest album debut in over a year at the time. CLB scored an astounding one billion plus streams within its first week and bowed at No. 1 across multiple charts around the world.

The rapper also debuted his SiriusXM show, Table for One, last week where he shared that additional projects are planned for 2022, including a poetry book and a third chapter in his Scary Hours EP. No further information on either has been revealed as of press time. He’s also working on the 2022 OVO Festival but has not revealed a date yet.
