The song follows his headlining tour kick off

Sony Music Nashville’s breakout act Dylan Marlowe has shared his latest track, “You Did It Too.” Written by Marlowe, Dallas Davidson, and Joe Fox, the new song is an honest depiction of the way of life he knows.

“I wrote this song after ‘Boys Back Home’ came out in a pretty angry moment,” Marlowe shares. “Usually I don’t let internet hate get to me but something about the hate behind a song I wrote because of how and what I grew up doing hit me differently. ‘You Did It Too’ is my response to that hate, and it’s the most honest song I’ve ever written. Every line is true to my life. I write and sing songs about the way of life I know, and you’d probably get it if you did it too.”

Earlier this week, Marlowe and Curb Records’ country hitmaker Dylan Scott debuted the rowdy, backwoods music video for their anthemic single “Boys Back Home.” Cutting between scenes of jacked-up trucks, dirt bikes, race cars and even a surprise cameo from Russell Dickerson, the video is an ode to an epic southern night with the hometown crowd. With over 33 million total global streams, “Boys Back Home” is impacting country radio now.

This year, Marlowe was selected to be part of Amazon Music’s Breakthrough Artists To Watch Country Class. He was also named a CMT Listen Up artist as well as an “Artist to Watch” by Pandora and others.

Following his opening stint on Hardy’s The Mockingbird and The Crow fall tour along with Lainey Wilson, Marlowe kicked off his headline Dirt Road When I Die Tour last night (Thurs, Feb 1st) in Mobile, AL. With many of the stops already sold out, Marlowe will bring his show to Atlanta, Charlotte, Nashville, Dallas and other cities across the South and Midwest.
