The artist earns his 10th and 11th country chart-toppers
Ernest has earned his first No. 1 on country radio as an artist. Last week, the country singer/songwriter topped the country charts with “Cowgirls” featuring Morgan Wallen. Before that, his “I Had Some Help,” reached the top of the charts by Post Malone and Wallen. The songs mark Ernest’s 10th and 11th No. 1s as a songwriter.
“Cowgirls” is featured on his 26-track album, Nashville, Tennessee, produced by Joey Moi. The album brings to life the musical vision of one of the modern era’s most impactful country hitmakers and pays homage in name, and sonically, to Ernest’s hometown city. Nashville, Tennessee follows Ernest’s 2021 debut album, Flower Shops (The Album), which featured the two-time platinum title track “Flower Shops” featuring Morgan Wallen and gave fans a glimpse of Ernest’s edgy artistic styling.
With more than one billion global artist on-demand streams, sold-out shows at the Ryman Auditorium, and his recent performance debut at California’s biggest country festival, Stagecoach, Ernest continues the momentum of his sophomore album, and his headlining success as a solo artist with The Legalize Country Music Road Show.
The Big Loud recording artist has added up-and-coming breakout artist Graham Barham to select dates. The previously announced headlining tour will kick off in Vancouver, Canada on September 4th and continue throughout several markets, including Los Angeles, Anaheim, Fort Worth, Milwaukee, Knoxville, and more. Additionally, Ernest is also slated as direct support on Jelly Roll’s upcoming Beautifully Broken Tour.
Last month, Ernest announced a month-long hiatus to spend time with his family. A recent overseas trip inspired his decision.
