EP is first music with producer Corey Crowder

Florida Georgia Line will release 6-Pack EP on May 22nd via Big Machine Label Group. The duo’s latest single, “I Love My Country” is the first taste of the project produced by Corey Crowder.

A banner on the duo’s website teases the project with a different colored beer can representing each track. “I Love My Country” is the only known track while the others are slated to be released every couple of days through May 22nd via a Tunespeak contest in which fans can also win a Zoom chat with Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley.

The track marks the first taste of FGL’s much-anticipated fifth studio album on BMLG Records due out this year, plus sets the tone for their next exciting next chapter.

“I Love My Country” follows FGL’s successful fourth album, Can’t Say I Ain’t Country, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and went on to become a gold-certified smash, spawning the 2X platinum chart-topper “Simple,” platinum “Talk You Out of It,” and tender ballad “Blessings.”

Last month, they released an acoustic version of “I Love My Country” offering a signature acoustic guitar melody accompanied by a rolling banjo and rhythmic shakers. Adding to its country-to-the-core lyrics, the adjoining video finds FGL jamming with their touring friends and echoes the same sentiment of homegrown fun.

Last week, FGL released a crowd-sourced video for the track featuring help from TikTok stars like BabyAriel, ImTheJay, Josh Killacky, and Chelcie Lynn, to encourage fans to let loose (while respecting current safety guidelines). The result is a montage of hilarious, adrenaline-pumping reasons why they love their country lifestyle.

Most recently honored with Pandora’s Billionaire plaque for crossing 5.6 billion+ streams on the platform, the award-winning duo were also just featured on the buzzy country remix of Justin Bieber’s “Yummy,” as they continue to break new ground during a record-shattering career which includes 21 RIAA-certified singles and four certified albums.
