Fresh off their historic three-hour rock and roll marathon for 30,000 adoring fans last Friday – the first stadium concert in Australia in two long years – Frontier Touring is thrilled to announce global rock giants Foo Fighters will return to Australia and New Zealand in November/December 2022.
As teased by Dave Grohl on stage in Geelong (VIC) just last Friday night, the 2021 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees will return to the southern hemisphere this spring, bringing their unrivaled Foo Fighters live experience to audiences in Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, Wellington and Auckland. It will be Foo Fighters’ first headline tour of both countries since 2018.
Tickets to all cities will go on sale Thursday, March 10th via Ticketmaster. A Frontier Members pre-sale begins Tuesday, March 8th. General on sale will be Thursday, March 10th.
Foo Fighters’ sonic arsenal has served as the soundtrack to so many of our lives. Always serving up fan favorites spanning from their 1995 debut up to their recent tenth studio, 2021’s Aria No. 1 Medicine At Midnight, Foo Fighters are the world’s premiere stadium/arena attraction. Last week’s triumphant concert in Geelong was nothing short of unforgettable.
Sunshine Coast, Amyl and The Sniffers, Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, Hot Milk, Teenage Joans and Dick Move will be supporting on select stops.

The band is currently on an extensive US tour, marking their most extensive North American run since the February 2021 release of the band’s 10th album, Medicine at Midnight via Roswell/RCA. Other 2022 dates include a headlining performance at Welcome to Rockville 2022 in Daytona Beach, FL running May 19-22 and Boston Calling from May 27-29th.
The Foos just released its first-ever horror comedy film, Studio 666, in theaters nationwide. In the film, the legendary rock band Foo Fighters move into an Encino mansion steeped in grisly rock and roll history to record their much anticipated tenth studio album. Once in the house, Grohl finds himself grappling with supernatural forces that threaten both the completion of the album and the lives of the band.
