Singer takes a ride through the ages

Gabby Barrett is taking a drive of a lifetime in her “Pick Me Up” music video. The video made its premiere on the Paramount Times Square Billboard in New York City, as well as cruising on CMT Music and CMT.com, and via Facebook as a New Release Spotlight on Thursday (May 5th).

“This was a very personal video for me to shoot – taking on the lead with my husband Cade, and even being reminded of our daughter Baylah by having a little girl play her on set,” shares Barrett. “And my goodness, when I saw the full clip for the first time, I teared up. This one just touches my heart in a very special way.”

Turning the clocks back to 1962, the Alexa Campbell-directed cinematic clip chronicles the true love story of a couple – played by Barrett and her real-life husband Cade Foehner – through the decades. From a first kiss to one of their last, it’s a sweet peek inside a forever kind of romance.

As heard on Barrett’s Goldmine (Deluxe), an extended version of her meteoric Platinum debut album, the backroad ballad was penned by Barrett, Ross Copperman, and Jon Nite. The song is currently at country radio.

Supporting massive tours this summer including Jason Aldean’s Rock N’ Roll Cowboy Tour and select dates on Brooks & Dunn’s Reboot 2022 Tour, Barrett is also gearing up to return to CMA Fest with an anticipated performance on the nightly Nissan Stadium stage in Nashville, TN, on June 10th.
