The historic event will be the first opportunity for fans to get inside the bar

It’s the most anticipated bar opening of all time! Garth Brooks has announced a Dive Bar concert for the opening of his Friends in Low Places Bar & Honky-Tonk in Nashville. This historic event will be the first opportunity for fans to get in the bar. The concert will be on Black Friday, November 24th. The only way into the concert will be to win tickets by listening to The Big 615 station on TuneIn.

“How do you open a Friends in Low Places bar??? With a Garth concert! This is going to be off the chain. Black Friday, brand new bar, in the home of country music…Hollywood couldn’t write a better script. I can NOT wait!” Brooks says.

Previous Dive Bar concert stops include, Joe’s on Weed Street in Chicago, Buck Owens’ Crystal Palace in Bakersfield, CA, Gruene Hall in New Braunfels, TX, amongst others. Now, Friends in Low Places Bar & Honky Tonk will join the list! The Dive Bar concerts were inspired by his single “Dive Bar,” a duet he sang with Blake Shelton.

The Big 615 radio station can be heard on Garth Brooks’ Sevens Radio Network which is on TuneIn. With Storme Warren as the official voice, The Big 615 offers listeners an authentic take on country music that offers up the biggest songs and the biggest artists today.

The contest starts on Monday, October 16th. Fans will need to listen to a keyword and register for a chance to win.

Brooks confirms that phones will be bagged for the performance and access will only be available for the first two floors of the multi-entertainment complex.

Brooks has engaged Strategic Hospitality, a Nashville-based hospitality company owned by brothers Benjamin and Max Goldberg, to help execute his vision for the three-story, 40,000+ square foot property on Nashville’s Lower Broadway.
