Performances are part of The Garth Brooks Stadium Tour

Garth Brooks has announced his long-awaited return to Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland. The shows will be Friday, September 9th and Saturday, September 10th. The news was announced today (Thurs, Nov 18th) on social media. Brooks is set to host a press conference from Dublin on Monday (Nov 22nd).

Tickets are on sale Thursday, November 25th at 8 am local time via Ticketmaster. Prices are €65.56 for general admission and €81 for seating with an eight ticket limit.

Croke Park is the only European venue on The Garth Brooks Stadium Tour, which has seen several delays and cancelations due to the pandemic. The trek is expected to wrap in the States in August 2022 after kicking off a three year run in March 2019.

The Dublin City Council has granted licenses for five shows, but only two have been announced as of press time. Additional dates are expected for September 11th, 16th and 17th.

Next year will mark 25 years since Brooks last played the venue in 1997.

The concerts will be held eight years after his 2014 cancelation of five shows at the same venue. Brooks canceled those shows after the Dublin City Council only granted permits for three after local residents complained of traffic and noise concerns. More than 400,000 refunds were given following Brooks’ “all or nothing” ultimatum.
