Event runs this spring

A new German music festival called No Playback Festival has been announced for April 28-29th at Remchigen’s Kulturhalle which ensures none of the bands will be performing using backing tracks. The two day event will see Raven, Ross The Boss, Holy Moses, Vicious Rumors, Crystal Viper, Traitor, Sanhedrin, Rezet, Contradiction, Act Of Creation, Tarchon Fist, Hell Patrol, Savage Existence all take the stage for “100% metal, 0% playback! No Playback Festival 2023.”

“The real LIVE experience, international top bands from the rock and metal scene, who still embody the spirit of rock’n’roll, that’s what the No Playback Festival stands for,” organizers share on the festival’s website. “Here fans and musicians are still a unit and not separated by barriers or ditches – and certainly not by ‘Golden Circle,’ ‘VIP-Only Areas’ and such crap. The experience is correspondingly intense.”

Tickets for the two-day fest are available now via the festival’s webstore. Single day and two day tickets area available individually and as merch packages.

These will be the last shows for Holy Moses and Contradiction who are calling it quits following their respective performances.

Raven will celebrate their 40th anniversary by playing their 1983 masterpiece All For One in full. To date, Raven are the most intense live band in the world with their first three albums leaving a mark on metal forever.
