Band launches 42 city trek in Aug

Greta Van Fleet has announced new arena shows for fall 2022. The 42 city trek kicks off August 16th in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada with stops throughout the US and Canada. The tour wraps November 12th in Sacramento, CA.

The band will be joined by The Pretty Reckless, Houndmouth, Durand Jones & The Indications, Fruit Bats, Robert Finley, Crown Lands and Hannah Wicklund on select dates.

A fan presale runs March 2nd with a local venue presale starting March 3rd. General tickets go on sale March 4th at noon local time via Ticketmaster.

The new dates follow the band’s spring Dreams in Gold Tour 2022, which sold over 100k tickets in two days. It kicks off March 10th with five shows in their home state of Michigan before midwestern and international dates.

The group will open for Metallica on August 11th and 14th in Buffalo and Pittsburgh, respectively. Those dates conclude a trifecta of 2022 US stadium shows with the band, following this past weekend’s Allegiant Stadium show in Las Vegas.

The group is touring in support of its critically acclaimed album The Battle at Garden’s Gate, which was released in 2021 to extensive chart success and fanfare, debuting at No. 1 Billboard Rock Album, No. 1 Billboard Hard Rock Album, No. 1 Billboard Vinyl Album, No. 2 Billboard Top Album Sales and in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200.

The Battle at Garden’s Gate explores the boundaries of the group’s artistry and reflects heavily on the individual members’ personal and spiritual growth during their rapid rise.
