Wilson promises to return to the stage in 2025

Heart has postponed its 2024 Royal Flush Tour after advisement from Ann Wilson’s doctors. The rocker said she was recently diagnosed with cancer and will be undergoing “preventative chemotherapy.”

“I recently underwent an operation to remove something that, as it turns out, was cancerous. The operation was successful & I’m feel great but my doctors are now advising me to undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy & I’ve decided to do it,” she writes on social media. “And so my doctors are instructing me to take the rest of the year away from the stage in order to fully recover.”

Wilson apologizes to fans, stating, “Please know that I absolutely plan to be back on stage in 2025.”

She also confirms, “Respectively, this is the last public statement I’d like to make on the matter.”

Wilson says the band’s team is working on rescheduling the dates in 2025 with more details to follow.

In late May, the band canceled its European tour while Wilson underwent a medical procedure. The European tour was scheduled from June 20th through July 12th with Squeeze.

Cheap Trick was to support the dates with Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening and Bachman Turner Overdrive featuring Randy Bachman playing select stops.
