New event will be held this summer
A new two day music festival is headed to the Gateway City this summer. Evolution Festival will be held August 26th and 27th at St. Louis’ Forest Park. The Black Crowes, The Black Keys, Brandi Carlile, Ice Cube, Morgan Wade, and Brittany Howard are among the 18 national and regional acts set to perform throughout the weekend.
Tickets go on sale Friday, February 17th at 10 am local time via EvolutionFestival.com. Weekend general admission tickets start at $99.50 per person, with three levels of Weekend VIP experiences starting at $199.50 per person, all-inclusive hotel packages and a limited number of premium cabanas. Layaway plans are available for only $25 down on all ticket types for a limited time.
Tickets are on a tiered pricing system to encourage early purchase. Each ticket type will be at its lowest price at the initial on-sale, and each ticket type will increase in price once the allotment for each price level has been sold out. Prices are subject to increase at any time and are determined by demand.
All tickets will be issued in the form of RFID wristbands which will be used for entry into the festival and are non-transferrable once activated.
A portion of the ticket sales will be donated to the non-profit Forest Park Forever and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital’s Music Gives campaign to raise money in the fight against childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

The Evolution Festival is embracing this “spirit” with a spotlight on bourbon, which has exploded in popularity over the last several years, by welcoming some of the most iconic bourbon brands, distillers and connoisseurs to showcase over two days.

The Evolution Festival will feature an elevated barbecue experience, curated by Sugar Fire Smokehouse, that will showcase traditional favorites alongside the newest cutting-edge trends by some of the most recognizable smokehouses and pit masters in the industry.
