“Goin’ Crazy” & “Holding Me Back” are available now

Jameson Rodgers celebrated his latest tour outing with two new songs as he drops “Goin’ Crazy” and “Holding Me Back” on the heels of kicking off The Mockingbird & The Crow Tour with Hardy last night (Thurs, Feb 16th).

While Rodgers confesses breakup and heartbreak songs are his favorite to write, “Goin’ Crazy” is an anthem for the levity of newfound love. Meanwhile, “Holding Me Back” details the difficulty of moving on from an all-consuming relationship that ends without closure. With a finger on the pulse of small-town living (and loving), Rodgers captures the layers of emotion through his songwriting, but never veers far from his rock-tinged sonics with heavy drums and driving guitars. These new offerings mark Rodgers’ first time working with producer David Garcia and follow “Heartbreak Highway” and “I’m on a Dirt Road,” released late last year. Rodgers also continues writing and recording the follow up to his debut album Bet You’re From a Small Town, released in 2021.

No stranger to the road, Rodgers continues his opening stint with Hardy tonight and tomorrow with a double-header in Grand Rapids, MI. He’ll also be joined by wife Sarah Allison Turner for The Goin’ Crazy Shows on March 23rd in Louisville, KY, March 24th in Peoria, IL, and March 25 in Chicago.
