New track available now

Singer/songwriter and beloved personality Jessie James Decker ushers in a new era of her country music career with confident new anthem “Should Have Known Better.” The track celebrates moving on with feisty, self-assured lyrics and an up-tempo groove. Along with the track comes the official music video, shot against a sunset backdrop in Joshua Tree. The video, directed by Kevin + King, shows Decker physically and metaphorically shedding a past relationship.

“I’ve had my heart broken before – we all have, at some point in our lives,” Decker shares. “It doesn’t matter if it’s from a relationship ending or from people trying to tear you down. This song is all about not letting that pain break you and coming out of it on the other side strong and confident. Anyone who broke your heart will regret it most when you SHINE! Now roll those windows down and sing it at the top of your lungs!”

The Big Yellow Dog/Atlantic Records/Warner Music Nashville recording artist has accumulated more than 100 million on-demand streams. With more than five million fans across her social media platforms, Decker has crafted a brand recognized world-round that reflects her family, her southern roots and, above all, her love for music.

Additional music is expected soon.

Decker shared new music would be coming this year in our final episode of 2020 on The Music Universe Podcast.
