Seven new remixes are available now

BTS’ Jung Kook shares Standing Next to You: The Remixes, following the release of his first solo album Golden. The EP includes the original track and seven new renditions, including an instrumental version, Slow Jam Remix, PBR&B Remix, Latin Trap Remix, Holiday Remix, Future Funk Remix, and Band Version.

“Standing Next to You – Slow Jam Remix” enhances the sensual vibe of Jung Kook’s vocals in the original track. The track flaunts a majestic string sound atop the powerful guitar solo that plays back and forth with Jung Kook’s vocals.

“Standing Next to You – PBR&B Mix” is a darker reinterpretation of the original track’s grand and expansive sound. The intense bass brings out a different charm and tension alongside Jung Kook’s soft, emotive vocals that will instantly captivate listeners.

“Standing Next to You – Latin Trap Mix” is a reinterpretation of the original track with the witty, musical themes of Latin trap with a chill, laid-back vibe. The dance break, which switches to afro beats, adds a delightful twist to the track.

“Standing Next to You – Holiday Mix” perfectly encapsulates the cozy, warm atmosphere of the year-end season with an indie pop genre. The sound of footsteps in the snow along with chiming bells blend perfectly with Jung Kook’s expressive vocals to deliver a sweeter excitement that the year-end brings.

“Standing Next to You – Future Funk Mix” is a modern interpretation of the original track’s retro funk sound. The bass sound highlights the energetic mood, further amplified by the synth in the drop section.

“Standing Next to You – Band Version” is a live band version of the original track, previously only heard on stage, and is now released as an official track.

Golden takes motifs from the golden moments of Jung Kook as a solo artist. The album consists of a total of 11 tracks including the main track “Standing Next to You,” solo single “Seven” featuring Latto in both clean and explicit versions, and “3D” featuring Jack Harlow as well as new tracks “Closer to You” featuring Major Lazer, “Yes or No,” “Please Don’t Change” featuring DJ Snake, “Hate You,” “Somebody,” “Too Sad to Dance,” and “Shot Glass of Tears.”
