Nine-time Grammy and four-time Emmy Award winning musician and actor Justin Timberlake’s latest single, “Can’t Stop The Feeling!” debuts at #1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart. This marks the first time in his career history. The track also debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Digital Songs Chart selling over 379,000 downloads and has the biggest first week single sales for any track in 2016.

“Can’t Stop The Feeling!” is currently #1 on iTunes in 27 markets including the US, UK, Canada, France, Germany and more, top 5 in 41 markets and has peaked at #1 in 58 markets across the world. It also debuts at #1 on the Canadian singles chart. On Spotify, the track is in the Top 10 on both the US and Global Top 200 Songs and has been streamed over 26 million times worldwide. The “First Listen” music video has over 22 million views and the official music video directed by groundbreaking and multiple award winning director Mark Romanek is set for release tomorrow.

At Radio,“Can’t Stop The Feeling!” continues to break radio records all over the world. The track was the first song ever to be added to every single Top 40 station in its first week with adds at all 186 stations and has the biggest one week Top 40 Airplay audience since Katy Perry’s “Roar” in 2013. It also breaks the record at Hot AC with 92 adds in its first week beating out a tie between Adele’s “Hello” in 2015 and Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off” in 2014. On Billboard’s Nielsen Music-based Mainstream Top 40 chart,“Can’t Stop The Feeling!” makes the fastest flight (two weeks) to the top 10 (soaring 24-10) for a song by a male in more than a decade, since Eminem’s “Just Lose It” in 2004. On the Adult Top 40 chart, the track completes the fastest rise (also two weeks) to the top 10 (19-10) for a song by a male in nearly two decades, since Eric Clapton’s “Change the World” in 1996.

Internationally, the track debuted at #1 on the UK Airplay Chart and is one of three songs since 2010 to go straight to #1 on the Airplay chart. In Canada, the song set a new record for overall adds in a week at CHR radio with 53 surpassing Katy Perry’s “Roar” in 2013 and set a new record for adds in a week at AC with 12 surpassing Michael Buble’s “It’s A Beautiful Day” in 2013.

“Can’t Stop The Feeling!” has been receiving rave reviews claiming the song is a potential song of the summer contender. Entertainment Weekly said the track, “is a welcome return to the dance floor from the prince of modern pop,” while putting it on this week’s The Must List. The New York Times says it has, “a killer hook,” while Variety claims the original song is an, “Oscar player in the making.”

“Can’t Stop The Feeling!” was written and produced by Justin Timberlake, Max Martin and Shellback specifically for the film and is the first time Timberlake has written and produced with the two Grammy Award winners. The original track will be the first single from the soundtrack for DreamWorks Animation’s upcoming feature film Trolls, where Timberlake will serve as the executive music producer. The soundtrack will be released on September 23rd via RCA Records.
