Kip Moore: Live at Grimey’s Nashville supports Record Store Day

Kip Moore is supporting independent record stores with the announcement that fans can tune in to a special live performance in celebration of Record Store Day this weekend. Kip Moore: Live at Grimey’s Nashville will air this Saturday, October 24th at 5 pm ET on Record Store Day’s Facebook, Moore’s YouTube and Facebook platforms and independent stores across the country will be broadcasting the performance in-stores. Performing new takes on tracks from his critically-praised record Wild World, Moore’s set shines the spotlight on Grimey’s Nashville as a much-beloved independent record store, and joins Record Store Day’s campaign to raise awareness and highlight the importance of locally-owned stores around the world.

“There is nothing like that feeling of going to your local record store and hand-picking out vinyls for your collection,” shares Moore. “It’s really important that we preserve the local independent record stores in our communities and Record Store Day is a really great way to help continue to raise awareness, even more so during these times. Grimey’s is a Nashville staple and to get to perform some songs from the new record there is something I’m looking forward to sharing.”

Moore has toured the world headlining his own shows, earning acclaim and a rabid fanbase as an all-in performer in each setting and at the top of the year wrapped 40 sold out headlining shows in The U.S, The U.K. and Canada. Praised by Noisey as “an uncompromising, genre-defying artist firing on all cylinders” Moore has blazed his own trail.

Moore also released 7 Days at the Rock documentary earlier this summer. The short film offers an unfiltered look into the weeks leading up to the May 29th album release as Moore spent time in self-isolation at his remote rock climbing facility, BedRock, located in Red River Gorge, Kentucky.
