KnuckleBonz announces Chris Cornell statue

Item expected to ship in fall 2023

KnuckleBonz will profile Chris Cornell as a limited edition statue as part of its Rock Iconz series.

The officially licensed  hand-cast and painted statue comes with a unique number and certificate of authenticity on the base. Only 3,000 units are being made and sold worldwide with an estimated fall 2023 ship date.

The band and its Badmotorfinger album will also be immortalized as a Funko Pop! Deluxe Album collectible later this year. Cornell, Kim Thayil, Matt Cameron, and Ben Shepherd will each be featured with a replica of the album.

The former Soundgarden frontman died by suicide in 2017 at the age of 52. New Soundgarden music with Cornell may be on the way after the band’s surviving members, their managers Red Light Management, and Cornell’s wife Vicky reached an “amicable out of court resolution” regarding the band’s final recordings last week.

The resolution comes nearly two years after the band and Vicky Cornell came to an agreement that gave the band and its managers temporarily control back to its website and social media accounts following a lawsuit with Vicky.
