New Funko Pop! figures set for release in 2023

U2, Usher, Bon Scott, Michael Jackson, Slipknot’s Corey Taylor, Ghost, Soundgarden, Janis Joplin, and Machine Gun Kelly are among the musicians getting new Funko Pop! figures in 2023. Release dates vary with some exclusive to retailers.

After making their Funko debut late last year, Irish rock band U2 will once again be immortalized, this time during their Pop era with Pop! Bono, Pop! The Edge, Pop! Larry Mullen Jr., and Pop! Adam Clayton in their dark attire. This Deluxe Pop! Album features these four band members as Pop! Figures, as well as the cover art from their 1997 disco-inspired album, Pop!

Pop! Usher will feature the R&B star in his his “Yeah!” music video outfit.

Original AC/DC frontman Bon Scott will be featured in his iconic outfit with open shirt displaying chest hair, jeans and microphone.

Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, is ready to take the stage in your music collection as he stuns the crowd with the gravity-defying lean from his hit performance of “Smooth Criminal.” He will get a Pop! Albums Cover for his Bad album, feature Pop! Michael Jackson in his black leather ensemble.

Ghost’s Pop! Papa Emeritus IV will be immortalized in his signature black and gold outfit complete with face paint.

Soundgarden will also get the Pop Albums Deluxe treatement for Badmotorfinger with Pop! Chris Cornell, Pop! Kim Thayil, Pop! Ben Shepherd, and Pop! Matt Cameron. This Deluxe Pop! Album features these four band members as Pop! Figures, as well as the cover art from Badmotorfinger!

Janis Joplin will get two figures released, one as a Funko exclusive black light Pop! and the other as decked out in her 1960s flair.

Slipknot’s Corey Taylor will be issued as a Platinum Vinyl figure exclusive to Hot Topic.

Machine Gun Kelly will be treated with a Gold five-inch figure. This collectible of Machine Gun Kelly has him dressed in his vibrant pink, 2020 MTV Video Music Awards suit, packaged in a sleek, display-ready box that is easy to stack with other Gold collectibles.
