Latin Grammys will air Nov 17th from Las Vegas

The Latin Recording Academy has announced additional performers for the 23rd Annual Latin Grammy Awards, which includes current nominees Silvana Estrada, Gente de Zona, Aymée Nuviola, Rosalía, Carlos Vives and Nicole Zignago, along with past Latin Grammy winner Goyo and Grammy-nominee iconic group, Los Bukis. Latin Grammy and Grammy winner Julio Reyes Copello — also a current nominee with an impressive seven nominations — joins as musical director of the show’s house band.

Silvana Estrada is nominated in two categories, Best New Artist and Singer-Songwriter Album. Gente de Zona is nominated for Best Contemporary Tropical Album, while Aymée Nuviola is nominated for Best Traditional Tropical Album. Rosalía is nominated in eight categories this year, including Record of the Year and Album of the Year. Carlos Vives is nominated in five categories, including Record of the Year and Song of the Year, and Nicole Zignago is nominated for Best New Artist.

They join previously announced artists Ángela Aguilar, Christina Aguilera, Rauw Alejandro, Marc Anthony, Banda Los Recoditos, Camilo, Elvis Costello, Chiquis, Jorge Drexler, Nicky Jam, Jesse & Joy, John Legend, Carin León, Mariachi Sol de México de José Hernández, Christian Nodal, Sin Bandera, Sebastián Yatra and the 2022 Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year, Marco Antonio Solís.

The 23rd Annual Latin Grammy Awards will return to Las Vegas at the Michelob Ultra Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino on Thursday, November 17th. The three-hour telecast, which is produced by TelevisaUnivision, the leading Spanish language media and content company in the world, will air live on the Univision network beginning at 8 pm ET/PT, preceded by a one-hour pre-show starting at 7 pm ET/PT.

Bad Bunny leads with ten nominations while Rosalia follows with eight along with Christina Aguilera and Tainy with seven each.

The Latin Recording Academy has teamed with OneOf for an exclusive, three-year deal to celebrate the Latin Grammy Awards. OneOf will host the first-ever NFT collection tied to The Latin Grammy Awards with a series of drops that will celebrate Latin music. The first collection of NFTs made their debut last month.
