Stunning new single & video available now

Platinum-selling singer, songwriter, actress, and multi-instrumentalist, Lennon Stella returns with a new single, “Fancy,” via RECORDS/Columbia. Co-written with GRAMMY Award-winner Malay (Lorde, Frank Ocean, Zayn) – who also produced the track – and longtime collaborator Simon Wilcox, “Fancy” showcases Lennon’s signature indie-pop sound and spellbinding vocals that shine throughout the dreamy and atmospheric pop-production.

The accompanying music video, directed by Amber Park (Camilla Cabello, Katy Perry), acts as a visual extension of the song, characterized by sequences that take on a rhythmic, dreamlike quality and redefine the boundaries of reality. The surreal and floaty song is matched with ethereal, prismatic imagery that perfectly reflects the nature of the track, and the kaleidoscopic visuals complement Lennon’s dynamic and captivating vocals.

“I’m so amped to have ‘Fancy’ out and floating around, both the video and the song,” Lennon shares. “I wrote it earlier this year with Malay and Simon Wilcox, two of my very favorite people. I was smiling ear to ear singing ‘I’m feeling that high vibration’ in the vocal booth so I hope everyone feels the high vibrations and loves the song like we do :)”

She adds about the video, “The video gave the song a whole other level of life and was such a sick experience getting to make with the loveliest Amber Park.”

“Fancy” marks Lennon’s first new music following her critically acclaimed debut album, Three. Two. One., released in April 2020, which includes standout tracks “Kissing Other People” and “Jealous” as well as a solo version of Lennon’s song “Golf on TV” with JP Saxe.

Lennon Stella first rose to popularity when she was just 12 years old as part of the duo Lennon & Maisy, alongside her younger sister, and gained national attention with a cover of Robyn’s “Call Your Girlfriend.” Lennon went on to star in the ABC/CMT smash Nashville as Maddie Conrad for six years. Kickstarting her solo recording career, Stella debuted with her 2018 Love, me EP, which bowed in the Top 5 of the Billboard “Heatseekers Albums” chart, that included the single “La Di Da,” amassing more than 151 million Spotify streams and counting. Stella was named among Refinery29’s “Young Celebrities to Watch in 2019,” Teen Vogue’s “16 Musicians You Need to Be Listening to in 2019,” and Amazon Music’s Artist to Watch for 2020. Following multiple nominations and her win for “Breakthrough Artist of the Year” at the 2020 Juno Awards, Stella was recently nominated for three 2021 Juno Awards, including “Juno Fan Choice,” “Single of the Year” for “Kissing Other People,” and “Pop Album of the Year” for Three. Two. One.
