The song appears on When A Crooner Dies due on November 17th

Two days out from the release of his highly anticipated new album, Tony and Grammy Award-winning, three-time Emmy and two-time Academy Award-nominated singer, songwriter, actor, and entertainer, Leslie Odom, Jr., unveils his new single “Loved.”

“The song’s kinda like a mediation on inheritance and family lineage,” Odom shares of the track. “A love…passed down like fine china or good land from one generation to the next.”

“Loved” is the latest track off Leslie’s fifth full-length album, When A Crooner Dies, set for release this Friday, November 17th via BMG. The album, which marks his first of all-new original music since 2019, was written and recorded over the course of the last few years and features a collection of ten newly penned, original tracks that mark Leslie’s most personal body of music to date, showcasing his unparalleled musical talent and instantly recognizable, effortlessly smooth vocals.

“Loved” follows the release of Leslie’s first new song “Show Me” and his latest release “Holding on to Us,” which debuted to both fan and critical acclaim.

In September, Leslie made his long-awaited return to Broadway starring in, and co-producing, the first Broadway revival of the classic American comedy Purlie Victorious: A Non-Confederate Romp Through the Cotton Patch by the legendary Ossie Davis.
