Track features Iann Dior, Tyson Ritter & Travis Barker

Immersive/Geffen Records artist LILHUDDY (aka Chase Hudson) releases his new single entitled “Don’t Freak Out” featuring Iann Dior, All-American Rejects’ frontman Tyson Ritter and Travis Barker, along with the official music video. This is LILHUDDY’s fourth single and first collaboration. The genre-blending track combines pop, punk, and hip hop, all of which heavily influence Hudson as a musician. The track is undeniably catchy, a true summertime jam, and is available now at all digital retail providers.

“I cannot explain how excited I am to put this song and video out into the world,” Hudson shares of the track. “I have been teasing the track and it is hands-down one of my proudest moments as an artist. iann, Tyson and Travis have been such inspirations to me, so being able to collaborate with them on ‘Don’t Freak Out’ was an absolute dream and I am so grateful for the opportunity.”

The music video for “Don’t Freak Out” was directed by Daniel Russell (Saweetie, Khalid, Missy Elliot, SZA, Justin Timberlake, Normani). Filmed at an abandoned factory, the video shows LILHUDDY being kidnapped by a mob of fans who strap him to the front of a monster truck cut with performance footage of LILHUDDY, Iann Dior, Tyson Ritter and Travis Barker.

In addition to the song and video, LILHUDDY announces his upcoming debut album Teenage Heartbreak, due September 17th. Teenage Heartbreak will include Hudson’s previously released singles “21st Century Vampire,” “The Eulogy Of You and Me,” and “America’s Sweetheart,” along with “Don’t Freak Out.”

LILHUDDY hit the ground running with the release of his first single “21st Century Vampire”, which has amassed over 32 million streams worldwide and over 9.6 million video views to date. “21st Century Vampire” marked LILHUDDY’s musical introduction with a signature style cultivated by the raw and restless angst of post-internet era adolescence. His music is a perfect hybrid of pop, punk, and alternative with an underlying message encouraging authenticity and self-acceptance. His second single, “The Eulogy Of You and Me” was co-written by Hudson along with Nick Long, Jake Torrey, as well as Andrew Goldstein and Travis Barker who also produced the track. Most recently, Hudson dropped his third single “America’s Sweetheart” along with the music video, which was directed by Sophie Muller and features Charli D’Amelio. On the day of its release, the video hit No. 1 on YouTube with more than three million views in the first 24 hours and over five million views in the first weekend. Currently, the video has over 11 million views and 29 million streams worldwide.
