Video premieres on CMT followed by all platforms
Little Big Town’s “The Daughters,” official music video premieres on CMT, CMT Music, CMT.com, and the Viacom Times Square billboard in New York City today (Thurs, Apr 11th). It will be available on all video platforms tomorrow (Fri, April 12th).
The official video follows the release of the “Dancers Cut,” which dropped last Friday. Both videos were directed by Dano Cerny (The Chainsmokers, Wrabel, Elle King) over the course of two days in Portland, TN. The retrospective narrative glimpses at the 50’s, 80’s, and finally current day with gorgeous performance footage, and contemporary dance woven throughout.
“The Daughters” has garnered support and high-praise from peers, fans, and press alike since the song’s release last Friday and its television world premiere on the ACM Awards this past Sunday. Many were brought to tears during the ethereal performance which featured the foursome surrounded by 26 female dancers of every age, race, size, and shape.
This is the first new music to drop from the band’s upcoming ninth studio album.
