Living Colour will release its sixth studio album, Shade, on September 8th via Megaforce Records. The project follows 2009’s The Chair In The Doorway.
“Shade is the sound of a band coming to terms with its shadows and light,” says guitarist Vernon Reid. “From the blue pulpit of Robert Johnson to the mean red streets of Brooklyn to the golden lure of Hollywood, Shade is the next chapter of a unique American journey.”
Corey Glover, Vernon Reid, Doug Wimbish and Will Calhoun teamed with producer Andre Betts on Shade. The project was mixed by Ron Saint Germain.
Living Colour is currently on the road in Australia through May 19th. They return Stateside May 21st with a show in Pasadena, CA. Several Hawaii shows are lined up for the end of May along with a show in June and July, as of this writing.
