Locash scores second week No 1 with ‘Hometown Home’

The song appears on the duo’s hotly anticipated new album

Locash’s “Hometown Home” remains the No. 1 song on country radio for the second consecutive week. There’s no better way for the platinum duo to roll into the release of their hotly anticipated fifth album, Bet The Farm, available this Friday April 18th.

Even after 16 years of delivering anthems to a diehard fanbase, “Hometown Home” is shaping up to be one of their biggest hits yet. In this frame, the song continues to reign No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart and the Country Aircheck/Mediabase Airplay chart. Upon claiming the top spot last week, this hit adds to their growing list of career No. 1s. However, it holds the distinction of also being the business savvy pair’s first No. 1 from the debut release on their label, Galaxy Label Group.

Simultaneously, “Hometown Home” continues to surge on DSPs, cracking four million-plus streams on Spotify and 1.9 million YouTube views on the Official Visualizer. Resonating with listeners everywhere this year, it’s the kind of anthem that brings you back to where you belong no matter where you are now.

Teaming up with the Savannah Bananas, the duo took over Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida by headlining the first-ever Banana Ball Halftime Show at an NFL Stadium in March.

Recently, they officially launched Locash’s One Big Easter Egg Hunt. Playing off the traditional hunt, the duo has expertly hidden 16 secret “Easter Eggs” within their Bet The Farm album cover. The lucky grand-prize winner will receive a private Locash concert in their hometown. Hint, look for all the “Things We Love.”

Bet The Farm stands out as Locash’s most personal, passionate, and poignant body of work to date. The duo’s Chris Lucas and Preston Brust thread messages of resilience, determination, belief, and positivity into the LP’s musical tapestry of arena-ready country and classic songcraft uplifted by pop ambition and rock grit.
